I am not locked into hockey, but the more NBA players take nights off for no reason, and NHL players play in games with broken bones, I'm open to watching more hockey.
My younger brother is locked into all things NHL {namely, Tampa Bay Lightning}. Even with that, I did not realize the NHL had launched a 4-Nations tournament in lieu of an All-Star game {that the players would not care about} until I saw this video on youtube {thanks, algorithm}.

After seeing that, I became locked in for the USA hockey game tonight.

I never thought I would be Googling "Team USA lineup tonight" and "Team USA hockey roster" haha.
